Words cannot express enough the marvellous time we had on this trip. Everything was top drawer, and we came away with a wonderful sense of history, the land, the people, and of course the animals that enthralled us in Southern Africa. The passion Dee and Ronnie exude is unparalleled, and that really made this trip so very special.
We are not sure where to start with our review after having had such an incredible trip. Prior to our Hosted Africa tour, we had never been on a group tour and were a bit apprehensive as to what to expect. It didn’t take us any time at all to realise, this was not a group tour, but a unique private tour with a bunch of new friends! Dee & Ronnie put together an itinerary that exposed us to so many aspects of Africa: the incredible culture, food, people, landscape and wildlife.
Experiencing South Africa was a once in a lifetime experience for us, and we are so pleased that we chose to experience it with Hosted Africa. Ronnie and Dee thought of everything so we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. Everything was pre-arranged, such as transfers, excursions, accommodations, dining, tips, etc. It was a stress-free holiday!
Reflecting back on our amazing Africa adventure, we have decided that it was a trip of a lifetime and a big part of that is the incredible job Ronnie and Dee did as hosts. We loved the diversity of activities that we experienced on the trip. Thanks to both Dee and Ronnie for making this a trip of a lifetime. We think you both are “The Best of Them All”!
Is an African adventure and going on Safari on your bucket list? It has been an interest of ours for years and we finally were able to put plans together and recently completed an outstanding experience, truly the “trip of a lifetime” with Hosted Africa, organised and personally hosted by Ronnie and Dee Pitcher. Every detail was addressed. Everything was done for us.
We’ve been on several small group guided tours and this one was excellent. All of the lodging options were good and I would recommend them in the future. The itinerary offers a very nice range of activities in addition to the Safari drives. Ronnie & Dee’s enthusiasm for what they do is infectious. Their desire to give back to and care for the local communities is admirable. Our travel group was great.
